Incitement to violence, discrimination or hatred

In France, freedom of speech in the public sphere has some limitations, namely the incitement to discrimination, hatred or violence with regard to a person or a group of people because of their origin, their belonging or non-belonging to an ethnic group, a nation, a race, a religion, a gender, a sexual orientation, a sexual identity or a handicap (article 24 of the Law on the Freedom of Press of 29 July 1881)
